Hello, I’m Caroline Byrne a Leiths trained Chef based in Pinner.
This is my second career, in the middle of 2013 I resigned from my Finance job, to pursue my love of cooking and have never looked back. I enrolled at Leiths School of Food and Wine for an intense 10 weeks to gain all the skills I needed to set up my food business. At the end of 2015 I went back to Leith’s for their amazing Nutrition in Practice Course working with chefs and nutritionists to learn the theory behind healthy eating and practicing healthy cooking.
From the beginning of 2014 to date Caroline’s Cookery has been evolving!
To start with I was selling my savoury bakes at Artisan markets and I still indulge my love of baking at local events, like the Eastcote House Summer Picnic, where my spinach and ricotta filo tarts and other goodies go down a treat.
I have catered for the last ever Heathfield School Summer Fair providing tea, cake and scones for 100+, a funeral buffet, a Valentin’e Day Picnic and been personal chef for an evening for a special birthday meal for two.
Last Summer I started to offer fresh pasta making sessions at the Artisan markets and I realised this was it. I really wanted to pass on my love of cooking by offering cookery lessons. Then the opportunity to go on the Nutrition in Practice course came up and everything has clicked into place.
Now I can not only help you to prepare quick and easy meals but they will be colourful, tasty and nutritious too.
Please see my certificates from Leiths.
